What happens to the butterflies if we don't take care of them?
Did you know that monarch butterflies are dying or becoming endangered? Herbicides are being sprayed on milkweed plants. This poison is dangerous because milkweed plants are a butterfly's only food. If we kill milkweed plants then butterflies will die of hunger. That's why our Baker Butterfly Garden is important. This habitat or new home will help butterflies live because they can feed on our milkweed plants. Please help protect our garden and butterflies!
The image and video below shows that butterflies are endangered and the number of monarch butterflies are decreasing. When the numbers keep getting smaller that means that they are dying. Their endangerment is because the acres or size of their habitat is decreasing.
